Inscription: Inscribed in orange paint lower right obverse: 'C. ROSE'. Cat. Note/Ref.: RDB commented soon after acquiring the painting that Charlie Rose had told him the sitter was a fellow Elam student. Rose was enrolled at Elam (Diploma of Fine Arts) between 1954 and 1957.
